Fit&Fun Zone at Changi Airport

RIOS transforms Singapore Changi Airport’s Terminal 2 transit area into the Fit&Fun Zone, an innovative 400-square-meter wellness sanctuary that responds to travelers’ emotional and physical needs. The design reimagines the typical layover experience through a series of choreographed experiential zones, bringing color and joy to create a unique travel environment in one of the world’s premier airports.

This hybrid production assignment captures both the immersive spatial design and the dynamic interaction of the Fit&Fun Zone, highlighting how light, color, and materiality guide movement and evoke a sense of wellbeing. Through the lens, the project showcases the seamless integration of playful installations, functional wellness areas, and the subtle choreography of staff and travelers, emphasizing the human-centered design that transforms a routine layover into an engaging, restorative experience.
