MoN Takanawa: The Museum of Narratives is the latest high profile cultural hub within Tokyo's Takanawa Gateway City, designed by Kengo Kuma & Associates and opened in March 2026. Its spiralling wood-and-glass facade, inhabited by over 200 plant species, dissolves the line between interior and exterior across nine floors. Weeks after opening, it was named to the Prix Versailles' World's Most Beautiful Museums 2026 list.
