A Wes Anderson-ish Trip Around Garden City Singapore

It’s been a while. We spent the past 2 months exploring different parks and green spaces of Singapore, immersing ourselves in the more natural aspect of urban living and making chance encounters with many wildlife coexisting on the island. Finally today we are ready to present the 4th episode of “A Wes Anderson-ish Singapore” – The Garden City.

Our journey covers the all-time favourite parks (Singapore Botanic Gardens, Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park, Southern Ridges and Punggol Waterway) and some of the latest additions (Rail Corridor and Tropical Montane Orchidetum). We also crossed paths with the popular otter family several times. A number of scenes are inspired by Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom. Hope you enjoy this journey with us.

Special thanks to:

Voon Mingwei – Cycling footage

Zhang Dongli – Assistant camera

Gerald Manceau – Drone footage
