On 23 May 2026, the Tokyo screening of "Summer Island" took place at Hibiya Okuroji as part of the Tokyo Architecture Festival 2026 collaborative programme. It was a great honour to have the occasion graced by His Excellency Ambassador Ong Eng Chuan from the Singapore Embassy in Tokyo, as well as Associate Professor Shunsuke Kurakata, Executive Committee Chairperson of the Tokyo Architecture Festival.

The official premiere of Summer Island (シンガポールの夏) on April 11, 2026 as part of the SJ60 commemorative events, celebrates Singapore’s neighborhoods, architecture, and human connections.

Summer Island will be screening in Tokyo as part of the Tokyo Architecture Festival 2026. The public screening will take place on 23rd May, 4-5pm at Hibiya Okuroji H5, Tokyo Japan
